Michelob Ultra Summer Series

Michelob Ultra was looking for an effective way to capture all of the iconic moments on their Summer Series tour. The tour provided guests the opportunity to take part in fun, interactive and physical activities in Miami, New York City, and Malibu, CA. Social Booth was tasked with capturing guests paddleboarding along the Miami shoreline, running in New York City during Manhattanhenge, rock climbing the cliffs of Malibu, and having a blast at the pre and post parties.  

Michelob Ultra is a brand that is constantly showcasing people on the move and being active. We wanted to create a system that would allow attendees to engage in their activity, and still have that moment captured in its truest form. SB PhotoTag: a handheld system that combines mobile registration as well as a tool for photographers to shoot and tag guests to their photos. SB Party Booths were also used to capture the pre and post-event celebrations.

Technology Included: 

  • RFID registration/sharing system

  • SB Photo Tag

  • Party Booth (GIF-output)

Attendees approached the registration where they utilized our RFID system. This RFID bracelet allowed guests to select their activity photos, tap their wristband to the reader, and get back to the party.  Attendees would then partake in some of the provided activities (see below). As attendees participated in the onsite activities, our photographers were able to get right in the middle of the action, use our SB Photo Tag system, and guests are able to add their photos instantly to their personalized gallery using their registered RFID wristband. We even equipped our offline mode to ensure that no photos were left behind when internet was limited or unavailable. At the end of the evening, all of the photos were pushed out to each guests mobile devices for downloading and sharing.
